תאור הקורס

Ireland is a vibrant centre of culture in the English language, coloured by the unique heritage and history of Ireland. This course aims to combine language refresher sessions with an introduction to and exploration of the life and culture of this unique location. It will be a mix of classroom work and excursions to see the sights. It will provide an exposure to the language in context, tricks and tips to analyse, understand and remember, along with developing an appreciation of the context in which it is used.

Athlone, also part of Ireland’s Ancient East, and just one hour from the Wild Atlantic Way, is the perfect location for those who want to escape the big city for a truly Irish experience in this lively regional town in the heart of Ireland, while still being within easy reach of Dublin airport.

Athlone, soon to be a university town, is a historical medieval Irish town located on the beautiful River Shannon. It attracts many tourists and international students and is a busy regional centre for top businesses. Considering that the town centre is only 1.5 hours from Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Kilkenny, with excellent bus and rail
connections, it is also surprising how much more affordable the cost of living is here.

The friendly welcome will be the biggest attraction for our students who are looking for somewhere homely. We know you will be impressed with Athlone and not to mention the FL school facilities which are excellent.
