Private lessons are, without a doubt, the best way to make the most of your time studying Spanish abroad. The personal one-on-one attention will inevitably lead you to learn faster and more effectively than in group classes.

Your teacher will identify the best learning strategies for you, as well as integrate the topics and focuses you wish to address. If you want to learn Spanish for a particular academic or professional field or simply have goals you need to meet, then this is the course for you. All levels are available, starting every Monday of the year.

Our Spanish school lies in the city’s eastern section, “El Batey.” It’s just a short walk from here to the city center and to Sosua’s principal beach. Our grounds are covered by tropical trees providing natural shade on 4 terraces, where outdoor classes can be held. Both Dominican students studying German or English and international students studying the Spanish language socialize, relax and practice languages in our outdoor garden, equipped with comfortable lounge chairs and a ping pong table. Indoors classrooms are simple and cozy. Additionally, a communal, open-door kitchen adds to the center’s familial atmosphere. The school is equipped with computers for free internet access, as well as wi-fi for those who bring their own laptops.

At some Latin America Spanish Schools, we offer you the option of staying in a local apartment. As always, this accommodation will almost always be a maximum of 20-30 minutes by walking or transportation from the Spanish school. Flats are not luxurious, but they are always very comfortable and fully equipped.

When you live in a shared flat, you will live with other international or local students. Individual and double rooms are available, and flats vary in size. This option does not include meals, but every apartment is fully equipped with its own kitchen for you to cook. It's a wonderful opportunity to make friends with other students from around the world and enjoy a greater degree of independence than with a host family.
