תאור הקורס

The Cambridge ESOL Examinations are recognized around the world by universities and employers. IIE Hawaii, an authorized Cambridge Preparation Center, offers the First Certificate in English (FCE) and the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE).

The FCE is an upper-intermediate level exam, and the CAE is an advanced level exam. Both certificates are challenging, highly-respected assessments of English abilities, and the exam scores are valid for life.

Courses are 12 weeks, except Jan-March (9 weeks, 8:30an-2:30pm).

The location and the teachers are really good. Everything went great and they were always helpful. The housing situation is kind of complicated but I was really lucky with my apartment. All in all good experience!

"It was outstanding"

The teachers at the school were so passionate about teaching, and I really learned a lot there, this is the best language school I have been on so far. (3 in total) the teachers and staff were so nice and are really helpful with all the things you may need. The school is perfectly located it only takes a few minutes to everything just like the housing at McCully, it’s clean and nice, only the bed is really bad.

The location was perfect because it is not far away from the beach and stuff like that. The classes were also nice but there was one classroom that didn't have any windows so the feeling was not that good. It made the classroom very small, too. My teachers and also the other staff were very friendly and attentive. I had a lot of fun with them, too. It was also great that we could drink tea every day and the possibility to join some activities offered every day was great.

"A good moment"

What I liked :
A good feeling with teachers. Joël Beck, for example.
A mix between casual and serious.
The location was really good. Classrooms were appropriate
To meet people from all over the world, and learn about other cultures, especially friends from Asia (Japan and Korea).

My regret : Lessons weren't so intensive. When you stay only fifteen days, it is hard to really improve your English.
