The Residence Course is the ideal choice for all those who wish to spend most of the time with their fellow classmates and who are interested in an extensive leisure time and sports program. Together with the DID staff the students stay in a nice youth residence which has been reserved for our participants. With 20 lessons per week all participants will quickly make good progress and are trained intensively.

Students taking this course can expect to be offered a comprehensive cultural, sports and free time program as well as German courses.

Included in the price:
Placement test | Teaching materials | Course certificate
Double or four-bed rooms with WC en suite (as desired)
Breakfast, lunch and dinner | Local transportation card
Bed linen and towels (laundry at extra charge)
Activities and excursions (every weekday)
24h-assistance by the DID residence staff

Upgrading to double rooms require an additional 50€ supplement per week.

תאור בית הספר

לא ניתן ללמוד גרמנית בשום מקום יותר מרגש מאשר בברלין! הבירה הגרמנית התפתחה בתוך שנים ספורות בלבד למטרופולין אמיתי. ברלין היא בהחלט לא יפה, לא אלגנטית וזוהרת - אבל היא מגניבה ואופנתית, מלאת גיוון ורעננה עד כדי כך שאתם צריכים לחוות אותה בעצמכם כאשר אתם רוצים להבין למה היא מושכת כל כך הרבה אנשים. אם תחליטו על אחד הקורסים הקבועים שלנו בברלין אתם לא רק תראו מטרופולין עולמי מרתק, אבל תוכלו גם לקבל הזדמנות לפגוש אנשים מעמים שונים ביותר ורקע תרבותי שונה. מה יכול להיות יותר כיף מאשר לגלות את ברלין יחד עם החברים החדשים שלכם שרכשתם תוך כדי למידת גרמנית!

בית הספר נמצא לא רק ברובע המרכזי ביותר של ברלין, ברלין-Mitte, אלא גם בלב התרבותי של הבירה. משם, ניתן להגיע בקלות ברגל אל כל האתרים החשובים. מהרייכסטאג עד לשכת הקנצלר ועד לשער ברנדנבורג, כל אחד מהם במרחק הליכה של חמש-עשרה דקות לכל היותר. כיכר פוסטדאם, אנדרטת השואה ואנדרטת חומת ברלין נמצאים בסביבה הקרובה של המגורים. עם תחנת הרכבת המרכזית של ברלין ממש ליד הדלת (הליכה קצרה 5 דקות), ניתן להגיע במהירות אל כל האטרקציות האחרות. מבנה המגורים מציע את כל הנוחיות: חדרים זוגיים וחדרים לארבע מיטות עם חדר רחצה צמוד ושירותים, טרקלין סקיי עם נוף מרהיב של העיר, מרפסת גג, גינה גדולה וחדרי סמינר המודרניים ביותר.

The classes were nice but too easy for me and so sometimes boring, but I enjoyed the time with my friends. The food in the hostel wasn’t the best, and there was also the issue with security and people stealing money from rooms. The actual location of the hotel was very good as it was close to the public transport and park.

Also, the hostel was really great in itself regarding the facilities. The activities were very good the first week, but slightly boring the second as the museums we went to weren’t the most interesting( and the swimming pool was extremely full with people). I loved meeting new people and staying in Berlin, and being allowed free time, in which we also went to pride, and it was quite well organized in some aspects.

However, in other ways it wasn’t as organized as the supervisors did not communicate well with each other at times so some teachers would be kept in the dark.

All in all, I really loved the trip and it was extremely memorable.

The latest building of our partner A&O was just completed at the end of 2010 and offers all amenities: double and four-bed rooms with en suite bathroom and toilet facilities, a sky lounge with a spectacular view of the city, a rooftop terrace, a big garden and the most modern of seminar rooms.

This residence camp finds itself not only in Berlin’s most central district, Berlin-Mitte, but also in the cultural heart of the capital. From there, all of the important sites can be easily reached on foot. From the Reichstag to the Chancellor’s Office to the Brandenburg Gate, each is a maximum fifteen-minute walk. Potsdamer Platz as well as the Holocaust and Berlin Wall Memorial are in immediate vicinity of the residence. And with Berlin’s central train station (Hauptbahnhof) practically at the door (a short 5 minute walk), all the other attractions, such as Alexanderplatz or the Ku’Damm, can be quickly reached.

Participants sleep in four-bed rooms offering en suite washroom & toilet facilities. The guest rooms are cleaned on a daily basis – whereas bath towels are changed every four days. Bed-linen and towels are provided.

We don't offer this course for only one week and we don't offer it without housing. We only offer it as described on pages 52-53 in our Agent's Manual.
